Mission Statement

I'm Dara Lau. Thank you for visiting my website! I'm an upcoming high school junior.  When I saw the devastating effects of the coronavirus on nursing homes around the country, I knew I had to act. I saw an opportunity to bring a measure of happiness and comfort to the residents and caretakers at our local facilities. My dad and I worked together to create several whimsical garden houses.
I coordinated with our church to write encouraging letters and draw pictures.  We will deliver the houses and letters along with treats later this month. I hope to inspire my peers to take the initiative and work to bring about positive change in our world. It's never too soon or too late to reach out to those in need.
